Hyundai Repair: brakes, wheel disc brakes, hyundia santa fe

Question
I have replaced the brake pads on my 2001 Hyundia Santa fe V6 and the pedal feels like it still needs brakes. You have to push down fairly far before it starts to stop. How can I fix this?

Answer
You have four wheel disc brakes, so pedal travel won't be adjustable anywhere other than the master cylinder pushrod, and once that's properly adjusted, there's almost no reason to adjust it again, ever.

If you would, please help me with answers to the following (as best you can):
1.  Which pads did you replace (front/rear/both)?
2.  Why did you replace your brake pads?
3.  How thick was each pad?  Give the position with each thickness if you can.  E.g., left front inner 3/32".
4.  Did you at any time loosen any of the bleeder screws?
5.  Did the new pads have wear indicators on them?
6.  If so, in which positions did you install the pads with the indicators?
