Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 2002 Sonata 4 cyl.

Answer
There were some mid model production changes on the sonata but here is what I can tell you. IF it has an external fuel filder it will be on the left rear underside of the car, in front of the wheel and fuel tank. It will have two steel lines on it and is about the size of a can of vegatables. If it isn't there you have an internal filter that requires removal of the fuel pump and is not reccomended for replacement until 100000 miles
