Isuzu Repair: Terrible noise, upper intake manifold, isuzu rodeo

Question
QUESTION: Please help me solve my isuzu rodeo 2001 problem. Its has about 55000 miles on it. I lost the timing sometimes and had it re-set almost by myself. The sound of the engine has never been the same again. But before the lost of the timing,i have always had the problem of re-filling the radiator with coolant or water at 1 liter every day(morning),and it consumes oil than any regular vehicle have had(i need oil check every two days).

ANSWER: Well these are zero tolerance engines Ab. Meaning that when you incorrectly set the timing back(no offense) the valves came in contact with the pistons and are probably bent or some could even be broken now. Does it run very poorly and blow any smoke out of the tailpipe? ALso the upper bypass hoses that run underneath the intake manifold are the culprits for loosing anti-freeze.

QUESTION: Hello Daniel,I have rated you,i think you really understood this machine. But,one more thing, this engine still run beatifully well,it does not blow any smoke out of the tailpipe ,exept for the bad tapping noice(probably from the valve). would i need to re-set the timing? And why do i need to re-fill my oil rather too often.

Answer
Well some of the valves could be bent Ab. As for the oil try running seafoam through a vacuum hose that goes into the upper intake manifold and into the engine. It will try to die on you just give it some gas until all the seafoam or carb cleaner is SLOWLY sucked up into the engine. After this drain your oil, clean out your EGR valve, and replace your oil with mystic or Rotella 15w-40 or 10w40 oil and one qaurt of lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer. this should make the oil problem dissapear but not the oil! If you need anything else please let me know and thank you for your patience Ab.:)
