Isuzu Repair: isuzu rodeo, timming belt, interference engines

Question
I replace my 96 isuzu rodeo 3.2L's timming belt.
after I take it out and replace a new one. I cannot set timimg belt right.  please help.

Answer
Well these engines are known as interference engines Vang. That means if the timing is off by even a little the valves will hit the top of the piston and cause catostrophic damage. AS LONG AS THE CAM GEARS AND OTHER TENSIONERS DIDNT MOVE you are okay. But if they moved forward or backwards AT ALL then the timing is off and you need to seek professional help before starting it okay?
