Question
I have a Mach radio with no display and buttons don't work. CD player works and volume works. Can I repair it myself? I am mechanically inclined. Thanks.

If the display and buttons don't work, but the CD player and volume do, that'd suggest that something inside the deck has gone bad, and would require pulling it open to find out what.  It could be something as simple as a cold solder joint, but could also be some dead components.

Based on the amount of work and time involved, I'd suggest it isn't worth fixing, and putting in an aftermarket deck is probably going to be cheaper and easier.
