Isuzu Repair: 1994 Isuzu Pickup, isuzu pickup, oxygen sensor

QUESTION: i Have a 1994 isuzu pickup 2.3 4 cylender with 90,000 miles. the oxygen sensor light came on and i replaced the oxygen sensor. how do i turn the o2 light off. i have unpluged the positive side of the battery and that did not work and then i unpluged the negitave side of the battery for 1 hour and it still stays on. what do i need to do to get or to reset the o2 sensor light so it will  go off.

ANSWER: Well Billy you actually need to have the computer reset by an OBD-1 machine. Autozone might be able to reset it for you or any local shop. If you need anymore assistance I am here okay? Thankyou for your patience.

QUESTION: We cannot find the computor hookup. we found the computor but there was no hookup to be found. I even went to auto zone and they could not find the port.

Okay Billy I did just remember on these you actually have to probe into the hookup which should be under the dash on the driver side dashboard. ALthough I would recommend taking it to a shop as if you hookinto the wrong connection you could fry something.
