Isuzu Repair: washer motor front, rodeo, 1999, spindle nut, center bolt

Question
QUESTION: The driver's wiper is not working....no response and loose.  No sign that motor is working, center bolt does not move.  Is it difficult to replace?  I am a do-it-yourself guy but to a limit.  thanks

ANSWER: Well John. No it is not hard to replace at all really. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts and pull the wiper motor from the fire-wall.Remove the motor spindle nut from the back-side of the motor. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the motor from the vehicle. Inspect all attachments/linkages plus wiper-arm nuts for any loose-ness or binding.

QUESTION: Thank you!  BUT I made a mistake.  I thought that there were two motors in front.  The wiper motor is work (passenger side is OK, therefore, the linkage must be broken or slipped.  Its pouring out now so did not spend time on it.  I assume if I take the top plastic plate off, I will see the linkage and it is not embedded inside the firewall.  What kind of challenge can I expect?  Ant insight would be helpful.

Thank you

john

Answer
Oh it's okay John. Well if one is moving and the other is not then you have broken linkage somewhere and no it is not very hard to do. just remove the top black vent and you should be able to access all the linkgage from there. any more help and im right here for you okay?
