Jaguar Repair: XJS 1988 V12, ac blowers, fuse panel

Question
I have a issue with my wipers, blower motor and horn.  They all share a common fuse, but the fuse is ok

Is there another relay somewhere that might explain the issue?

Answer
Hi Mike,

According to my diagrams the wipers are powered off of #9 fuse and the horn is powered off of #11 along with the windshield washers and the heater/AC blowers are powered off of #5 for the right blower motor and #10 for the left blower motor and none have anything to do with each other. All are in the main fuse panel.

I learned while working in Jaguar dealerships to pick only one circuit that has failed and trace that circuit from load (unit that don't operate) and using your wiring diagram test the circuit one joint at a time and head towards the source (battery)

Some times when you find the problem it will correct other problems too but in this case I don't see any connection between these three items so if I were you, I would just pick one circuit to trace with a 12v test light (or volt meter)

I always pick the easiest circuit to test first. In your case the horn looks to be the simplest and easiest to start with.

If your diagram is difficult to follow let me know and I will post a diagram of the horn circuit on my web site for you to copy.
