Jaguar Repair: 85 Jaguars sovereign, vacuum hoses, airflow meter

It has rough idle, miss on acceleration, I have ck compression, spark, timing. #5 cylinder shows black spark plug, could this be a bad injector flooding it, if so how to check it and correct it?

Its sounds like you may have a bad spark plug. Please replaced your spark plugs. If you still are having problems after changing the plugs, 1. check all of your vacuum hoses, 2. check your hoses to and from your airflow meter and make sure they are tight, 3. put some fuel injector cleaner in your tank. If these do not help, your your airflow meter may be bad. I have never had a bad injector, but dirty ones. Sammie
