Jeep Repair: 1999 JGC brakes, brake caliper, pad kits

Question
QUESTION: My son just replaced all 4 rotors and brake pads on his JGC. The driver side brake caliper is not releasing pressure after braking. We replaced the caliper and flexible brake line. What is causing the pressure to not release? It is only happening on the driver side.

ANSWER: ask your son how he did this?  I have no idea how he could have locked up one side  I have been doing brakes for 12 years and never have seen or done something like that b4.

QUESTION: When he replaced the pads, he pushed the pistons back into the caliper with out opening the bleeder valve in order to get the new pads to fit over the new rotors. After that the driver side rotor were glowing red. We then went ahead and replaced the brake caliper as well as the brake line. This did not fix the problem.

ANSWER: U dont need to open up the bleeder valve to release the pressure.
Here is the next thing which I doubt he will be able to answer
are they the correct pads and rotors? If u got them from an auto store
U basically got what U paid for.
I would go get jeep rotors and pads from the dealer.
U are gonna pay more  but U have already paid more total then U would have just getting the stuff from the dealer.
The dealer has rotor and pad kits together.

QUESTION: We got the pads and rotors from AutoZone. I doubt the pads and rotors are causing the DRIVER SIDE brake caliper from NOT releasing the pressure after braking. If it were the rotors and pads, wouldn't it affect ALL calipers?

Answer
was the issue there b4 he did the rotors and pads? if not it was caused by a part issue or how he did the work. U cant really mes up compressing calipers and putting on rotors  there is nothing to it.
if the rotors are warped  or out of spec   or pads are to thick just on that one  then there ya go  there is your issue.
