Jeep Repair: 2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED 4.7l AUTOMATIC, torque converter clutch, jeep grand cherokee

Question
QUESTION: I have had Engine Lights on before and these have been rectified by replacing
the Oxygen Sensors.  This time however, the light came on and after resetting
by Jeep Service, returns when the Jeep has been driving on a trip at 60 mph
for about 50 miles.

I have been told by Jeep Service that the Engine Warning Light has to do with
the Automatic Gearbox and could be any of the following.
1. Wrong transmission fluid.
2. Auto transmission filters need replacing.
3. Wiring problem.
4. Speed sensors need replacing.
5. Transmission oil pump problem
6. Need to replace gearbox.
The Jeep has only done about 55,000 miles and still seems to drive well
although it has always been "clunky" in the gear change since new.  This was
told to Jeep Service, but nothing was done during warranty period.

I have had items 1 to 4 done, but the light returns at the usual 50 mile trip
after running at about 60 mph on the highway.  It does not seem to return
when town driving.

Do you have a view as to what it will take to get rid of this problem.

Many thanks.

Paul

QUESTION: Code is P0470

ANSWER: there is no 470 code  I had to look it up on the net for it  and for good reason its for exhaust pressure sensor  and Chrysler does not use them.
