Jeep Repair: NO HEAT, heat treater, jeep owners

Kevin, I have come to the conclusion that Jeep has know about this problem/defect for some time. The situation regarding the AC/Heater blend doors..... This as you know is fixed by the dealers at a HUGE cost to the Jeep owners. Have you seen the fix that is out? Look at EBAY item #270205003300. This looks as if there are several different products to fix an array of defects in this heater box area. One DOES NOT require the disassembling of the dash that everyone dreads, mechanics included. What do you think of it and have you used it? It looks as if to me, and the feedbacks listed support this, this is a low cost way to fix at least the blend door problem.Thanks, Mark

the heat treater is not a fix  its a hack  u will loose the dual air control and only one side will control the hot and cold. I do not condone the repair  but its your jeep not mine.  I personal like to fix things the right way  that is why I do it on the side as well  so if u live near me I can do it for alot less then a  dealer will charge  I am doing 2 this weekend.
