Jeep Repair: Replaced fuel pump wont start at all now, jeep cherokee country, crank sensor

Question
I have 1996 Jeep Cherokee country with 134,000 miles. It started stalling at lights and wouldn't start for about 25 min. We replaced the pick up coil ran fine for about a week, then it just died and wouldn't start at all. Cleaned all connections, new plugs, new filters and a new fuel pump.It still won't start and all of the lights are going crazy. Please help!

Answer
Do you think it could possibly be the security system?  I would try locking and unlocking the drivers door, this should reset the security system.  I would also check to see if you are getting spark at your spark plugs.  If not check you coil, I have more often then not found a bad crank sensor to be the problem.  The crank sensor is on the left side of the transmission bellhousing on the top.  Hope you get it fixed!
