Jeep Repair: Leak,Drivers side,Power steering hose, metric wrenches, jeep cherokee

Question
My vehicle is a 1997 Jeep Cherokee,S.E. powered by a inline 6 engine. Its' transmission is automatic.
My problem is a leak, near the steering column.., above it, It appears that one of the hoses, attached to it is leaking. I am attempting ro replace the pressure hose first and then the other hose if the problem persists.
I bought the new correct hose and was trying to replace the old one but could not get a grip on the attachement at the steering column. It appears to be a size that no wrench of mine fits.
My questions are; is the tread of this atatchement different,(i.e...clockwise to loosen)? What size is the piece in question? Is there a good tool to fit it?
Thank you.

Answer
I don't have a jeep in front of me so the exact size part is going to be difficult to answer.  Chances are though if you've gone through all your standard and metric wrenches then it's already rounded.

If it's one going to the steering gear you may want to try a crows foot style wrench with a long extension so that all of your turning effort can be done like a foot or two clear of any obstructions.  The directions are all the same.  Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey.
