Land Rover Repair: starting problem, obd ii scan tool, land rover discovery

Question
i have a 96 land rover discovery and it began misfiring and having problems starting recently.  If i let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes it would start fine. It did this for two days and now will not start at all.  Any help would be appreciated

Answer
Your first step should be to check for stored faults with an OBD II Scan tool.  You should also check for fuel delivery and spark.  And you should look for obvious problems under the hood like an air flow meter than fell off, loose wires, etc.  let us know what you find.
