Land Rover Repair: light on dashboard, land rover discovery, land rover specialist

Question
I have a 2004 Land Rover Discovery.  The ABS, the Break light & the Down Hill alert on the dashboard has turned on & it does not go away.  What can it be?

Answer
There are many possible causes - wheel speed sensors, a modulator failure, a wiring problem, a loose hub bearing . . . the only way to know is to find a Land Rover specialist with a T4, IDS, or Autologic test system.  Those systems can talk to the ABS computer and they can then tell you what the messages are saying.
