Land Rover Repair: Air suspension, ace system, watts linkage

Question
When the vehicle gets up to 50mph in the raised normal riding position, there is a rumbling noise at the rear of the vehicle. This rumbling sound occurs several times before stopping while the vehicle is riding. Once the vehicle comes to a stop it starts all over again. What could be the problem?

Answer
Hi Jim,

could it be the bushes on the Watts linkage?  Do you suspect one of your air springs could have a leak?

I'm not familiar with the noise but I know that the ACE system has its share of noises.  Maybe its the ACE actuator and not your SLS.

Best to have an expert check it out.
