Land Rover Repair: LR Discovery I 95, high humidity, factory workshop

Question
My Discovery won't start.  It cranks but won't start, this usually happens after rain or high humidity.  I already had my mechanic check the fuel lines and filter and had the distributor cap replaced and wires plugs checked out.  any suggestions on what we should be looking at

Answer
If the vehicle has a good engine, it will run if provided with fuel and spark at the right moment.  Your statement that you checked all those things is therefore probably either incomplete or incorrect.

You say your problem is humidity related.  That suggests al electrical issue to me.  I'd take another look at the ignition wiring.  I'd also look at the fuel injection wiring.  The factory workshop manual has a procedure to test all that with standard shop tools.

Good luck with it,
John
