Land Rover Repair: Broke down RangeRover, rovers north, conversion kit

Question
My check engine light is on and my eas has faulted.  The sensor say max speed 35mph and the truck rides like a donkey. If I try to go over 35 the height adjuster beeps continously.  Please help any ideas are welcome.  I have a 1996 4.0 HSE.

Answer
You need to scan the engine computer for faults, and do what's is indicated.  That's the meanign of the check engine light.

The 35mph warning and hard ride indicate the air suspension has failed.  On a 1996 truck I'd recommend you buy a coil spring conversion kit and have it installed.  At out shop, that's a $1,600 job - $2,100 if you change shocks too.  You can buy kits online from Rovers North or Atlantic British

Good luck
