Steering Column Repair: 2000 pontiac grand prix, pontiac grand prix, one headlight

Question
I just bought the car and my hi/low headlights are mixed up on the drivers side of the vehicle and I don't know how to fix it? I think someone mixed the wires when they replaced the ignition switch. one pair of headlights are on low and the other are on hi, when I click the switch they switch.

It sound to me like the wiring problem is most likely near the headlights themselves, not in the column.  The multiswitch is not something that can be reworked for one headlight or another.  It sends out power for either high or low beam through single wires and they split in the harness under the hood.  Most likely someone put a new headlight socket in and swapped the wires there.
