Land Rover Repair: Hard to start when engine is hot and weather is warm, vapor lock, cold weather

Question
97 Range Rover, 4.0L runs good in cold weather. It starts no problem. Once weather warms up and engine is hot, on short trips engine is hard to re-start. After cooling down for about half an hour, engine starts with no problem. What could be causing this?
-Thanks

Answer
One of the fuel injection temp sensors may be faulty.  That's the first place I would look.  Second, I would look for fuel flooding in the motor.  Pull the spark plugs and see if any are wet.  If so, that will produce the same problem.  Finally, a loss of fuel pressure when hot will cause vapor lock and hard starts.  That can be checked by putting a gauge on the line and shutting down the motor.  If the gauge drops to zero, the pump valve or regulator leaks
