Land Rover Repair: help Discovery 2001 hesitates, land rover discovery, discovery series

My Land Rover Discovery series 2 has been acting like it isn't getting enough fuel\hesitates. It acts like a clogged fuel filter. Got new filter but when I couldn't find the filter on the Discovery ,I called a dealer and got a laugh. What on earth is going on??? HELP!!HELP!!! Bob

the fuel filter is inside the gas tank, part of the pump assembly.

you can get to the filer from inside the cargo area, on the right, by removing the trim work.  The filter is not a common problem point though, more likely the basic tune-up bits.

Start with new spark-plugs and wires.
