Land Rover Repair: 2001 Disco II starting problem, crank sensor, output speeds

Question
I have made an engine clean on my disco and after two days of operation it fail to start i let it rest and it start back again but it shut off itself running, again i let it cool and it star again it does this for three times more and then it shut off and have not run again, battery is ok and starter is ok but i dont have power on the plugs i put my scanner and it said is code P1884 i think is the crank sensor but i dont have the decoder chart

Answer
Code P1884 is a CAN/BUS network signal, which can be triggered by an incorrect engine output speed relative to transmission input and output speeds.  The crank sensor does not usually pull up any codes, but it definitely sounds like you need a new crank sensor.  Replace the crank sensor and you should be fine.
