Land Rover Repair: 1994 RR Gas Tank Vacuum problem, vacuum problem, gas tank

Hi John. I have a 1994 LWB. Whenever I remove the gas cap I get a lot of pressure released from the tank. Any ideas why this is happening. Also have a 95 Disco that is very hard to start but eventually does start. Any help much appreciated.

"A lot of pressure released" is really just too vague . . . there is no way to know if that's normal or too much without doing a pressure test.  If you are really concerned a Rover specialist could test it.

As to hard starts . . . I'd start with the common tune up items . . . plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing, throttle body, etc
