Land Rover Repair: electrical problems, dealer auction, fog lights

Question
i purchased a 2000 range rover 4.6 hse at a dealer auction and when i drove it home i noticed the p/w, horn, sunroof, radio, fog lights, and the fog lights on the bumper guards aren't working. whats the problem ecm module under pass seat? please help

Answer
You are correct in saying all those things are controlled by the moduule under the passenger seat.  It's called the BECM, and costs $1,300.  The BECM modules are coded to the vehicle, and you'll need a dealer or independent with T4 or Autologic test gear to check the old one out and (if needed) program the new one.
