Land Rover Repair: Air Suspension, air suspension, warning lights

Question
I have a 1997 range rover 4.0SE. The air suspension was changed about 4 years ago. it has now done 110,000 miles. When going along the suspension seems to operate ok with no warning lights on but the air compressor seems to cut in all the time. How ever it doesn't seem to be losing air because if I dont use the rover for a week the suspnsion still seems to have some air in it. Any idea what may be wrong. Thanks Adrian.

Answer
"seems to have some air in it" means to me you are losing air.  It should be at the same height as when you left it, and the tank should be full, if you don't have any leaks.  The compressor is cycling because one or more springs is losing air and the system is constantly topping it up.  The compressor will cycle quickly to keep the tank full.

depending on what parts were changed, the other parts are probably leaking.  the valve-block and compressor most likely need to be rebuilt.
