Land Rover Repair: security system - 1995 Disco wont start, system override, door key

Hi
I am the owner of Landrover discovery 95,I am having problems in the security system,the remote control key is not functioning and not even the security code and cant start the car,is there a way the security system can be disabled.

Hi Amin,

sounds like the alarm system was triggered and is preventing the engine from starting.  There is an override:

System Override - If the door key is held in the locked position for a period of 5 - 8 seconds the vehicle will lock but the security system will not arm.

You may have to have the system resynch'd by the dealer testbook.
