Land Rover Repair: windscreen washer motor unresponsive, washer motor, electric wires

Question
John, first, thanks for your sharing of volumes of great info via this board,
you've saved my bacon more than once.  Just had my 2000 disco II SE7 NAS in
with an independent in for a variety of brake/door lock/headliner repairs.
Upon picking it up I tried to use the washer/wipers to clear the front
windscreen and the wipers travel properly but no washer fluid. The reservoir
is full and the fluid lines are connected to the nozzles on the hood. How
would you diagnose to find the issue? Could it be related to any disassembly
during my recent repairs? Thanks for your input.

Answer
Check the washer pump - down on the washer tank - to see if the electric wires are plugged in.  See if it runs.  If it runs, you have a problem with the lines.

If the wires are plugged in, pull the connector off and see if it's got power when you press the wash button.  If it does, you need a pump.
