Land Rover Repair: L/R extreme abs/trc, offroad performance, performance light

Question
Hello John,I have a 2001 Defender 110 extreme with trc/abs.The dash warning lights for trc/abs are on most of the time but sometimes are off.Mostly the warning lights will be either on or off when turning the ignition on and stay that way but occasionally will change when in motion.I was told a new sensor was required at cost A$1100- but as it's intermittent I thought maybe it was possibly a loose connection?
I'm wondering how best to check this?
My Landy has also been fitted with a fully rebuilt Chevy 6.5L diesel V8, quite awesome offroad performance/light years in front of the original 2.5 turbo
Thanks for your time

Answer
I'm afraid you will have to trust the opinion of properly trained specialists on this one.  The only way to read fault codes in the ABS system is via the rovacom / autologic or dealer t4 test systems.  You'll need a shop with proper tools to check it for you and render an opinion.
