Land Rover Repair: Passenger Door lock, door latch, feedback page

I have a 2002 LR Discovery.  The passenger side door lock will lock with the key fob when I press it fast 2 times.  My problem is, the only way I can get it to unlock is by the door handle.  All other doors unlock with the key fob or the inside lock release.  Any clues as to why this is happening?

You almost certainly have a bad door latch, a $200 part inside the door that will take 1.5 to 2 hours to replace.  Do it soon because it could fail and the door won't open at all, and the technician will have to cut parts to get it open (much more $$)
