Land Rover Repair: Freelander not starting, tesco store, starter moter

Question
SPopped to my local tesco store earlier on today, went in, got me shopping, and went back to my freebie. Turn the key in the ignition and no start at all. all the battery lights come on, so i presume its not a power problem. I hear no sound what so ever of the starter moter clicking.

I managed to get the freebie started by jump starting, then i was able to do a 37 mile journey from edinburgh to glasgow for work, but will probably be stuck in glasgow untill i get it fixed.

Any idea's?

Answer
Since it started with a jump, odds are your battery is shot.

Easiest way to troubleshoot (especially if it happens again) is just get a new battery.  Make sure you get the proper one rated for the vehicle, too small a battery will cause problems.
