Land Rover Repair: blower motor, discovery 2, blower motor

Question
I have a 2000 Discovery 2, blower motor stopped working, I checked fuse under dash and it was ok, control panel seems to work showing diferrent speeds when changed, aslo pugged in a new motor, what else could it be or where should I look. Thanks Mike

Answer
There is a resistor behind the glove box that can burn out when the blower motor fails.  The control head and driver transistor can fail, too.  In addition, the wiring connectors can partly melt and fail at the blower.

www.landrovertechinfo.com has schematic diagrams for the system and step by step instructions for each piece.

Good luck!
