Land Rover Repair: self leveling suspension, pressure relief valve, self leveling suspension

Question
I have a 2003 Discovery HSE. After driving the vehicle and shutting off the ignition, the rear sinks down to almost where the fenders touch the tires. This happens about 50% of the time. After restarting and begining to drive, it raises back to original position. I assume it is a pressure relief valve in the self-leveling suspension. Thank you so much in advance for your help.

Answer
You have a leak somewhere.  It's nothing to do with a pressure relief valve.  It could be a leak in either rear air bag, or the lines and fittings, or the valve block.

You might be able to find the leak by spraying the rear air springs and lines with soapy water.  If you see any bubbles you've found your answer.  Beyond that, you'll need a shop and the specialist Land Rover test system to check it further.
