QuestionI just bought a car... so not sure what Autopage it is, but there is a small black box under the steering column with a red light that blinks when you put your hand by it, and a hole next it with 6-10 small circular metal circles. There is also a red light on the dash that blinks WHEN the alarm is working. Well problem is, when it is working, it works fine... alarm. remote start, auto lock/unlock, etc. But about 50% of the time, the red light will just stop blinking, but if I move my hand by the one under the steering column, that one is still blinking. The remote has full battery, and when I hit lock or unlock there is a little satellite symbol.... and it has the radar symbol come out of it... but then it wont lock, unlock, alarm activate, or anything. It was working twice tonight, but it also stopped working twice tonight. I tried jiggling the black box, but it doesnt do anything, it just randomly turns back on and works. I have no instructions for these so not sure if there is a way I am disabling and reenabling the whole thing somehow? No idea.
