Just wondering what the green dash light with a S in the middle means, we got a LandRover (2003 Discovery) and it just came on and we've only had it for 2 days.  Didnt come with an owners manual.  Thanks

The green light means you have pushed the mode button at the base of the gearshift, thereby selecting sport mode.  Push it again and it will return to normal mode.

The car shifts differently in the two modes.  Try both and see which you like.
