Land Rover Repair: Collision-activated inertia switch?, inertia switch, connector pinouts

Question
John,
I recently bought a 04 Disco II which was in a minor  accident in which part of the front was damaged. The car cranks like it wants to start but does not start because fuel is not reaching the engine.Somebody already posted a similiar question like this but on a 96 Disco. How is it that you reset the Collision-activated inertia switch and where is it located.

Thank You

Answer
The 2004 workshop manual says it's on the bulkhead, behind the engine.  You press down to reset it.

If you'd like to see for yourself, go to www.landrovertechinfo.com and subscribe for a day's access.  You can get the manual, telling how to test the switch, plus the wiring diagrams and connector pinouts.
