Land Rover Repair: 2001 Landrover Discovery II, cohutta georgia, class action suits

Question
1- Is there an ODB II Reader available to read & reset the Brake Codes for my 2001 Discovery?
I have the 3 Amigos on. ABS,TC, HD!
I had the codes reset from Dealer after code said I have a bad RF Speed Sensor. The dealer wants to replace the Sensor and the Hub. After reset the lights were off for 2-3 weeks and came back on in the exact same spot on my driveway as last time.
I am replacing the Rf Sensor and I would like to reset the ECU. I have an ODB II Unit but it does not pick up the codes for brake systems. I would appreciate your input.
PS: I called LRNA and expressed my concern that every Discovery Owner I talk with has the 3 Amigo's Problem. They tell me to get used to looking at them. If I can't find a fix I will remove the Binacle and Remove the Bulbs.
I like my LR except for the Light Show.

Answer
Hi Lee,

I don't know very many OBDII readers that reset ABS codes.  You could do a internet search on LandRover OBDII and ABS...you never know.

Usually, when the 3 amigos show up at your doorstep, there's some underlying reason why they were triggered.  It could be as simple as a failing wheel sensor or the entire ABS modulator itself.

Perhaps resetting the battery will clear the codes after you do the part install.  Disconnect negative cable from battery; wait 10 secs, reattach...cross fingers.

"get use to the light show"...I'd respond...get use to the class action suits!

Best of luck,
