Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Series III -Clutch, clutch slave cylinder, ashcroft transmissions

I am in the process of replacing the chassis on my 1979 Series 3 Landy.  While I had the engine and gearbox apart, I thought it worthwhile to replace the clutch plates.  However, now that the car is more or less back together I was bleeding the brakes and clutch to make sure there were no airbubbles in the systems and note that the clutch pedal has no resistance when depressed, which makes me think that the clutch is not disengaging.  I did not do anything else to the clutch other than replacing the plates - can you think of anything that may be causing the problem?

Hi Lesley,

As a Disco owner, my first thought was clutch slave cylinder (lower back passenger side I believe).  To be sure, double check to make sure no air in the system.
