Land Rover Repair: 1999 Discvory II trouble, service appointment, tomorrw

I have a 1999 Discovery II SE7 with 61k.  Today when my wife got home she could not get the key out of the ignition.  The SERVICE ENGINE light came on and the "M" and the "S" lights both came on and they are blinking.  In the mileage gauge the "D" is blinking and when I went to drive the car, it seemed very sluggish from a start to gain speed.  I have an appointment tomorrw at the dealership (ugh).  Any thoughts?

Hi Warren,

these lights are indicating a gearbox problem.  No doubt your service appointment will reveal some possible electrical fault problems in this area.

Makes sense since you are experiencing 'sluggish' behaviour.
