Lexus Repair: spark plugs, coolant hose, plug holes

Question
what is involved in replacing the plugs on a 93 gs300 with 6 cyl trac engine

Answer
Hello Michael,
This is a 2jz-ge engine. I would rec. using only Denso  or NGK plugs(please don't use the Bosch junks!).  Here are the list of tools you will need for this job: spark plugs socket 5/8, 3/8 extension, 3/8 racket, 10mm, 12mm wrench and sockets.
Remove your plastic intake pipe with a 10mm sockets, then your throttle body. There are 2 long 12mm bolts on the top your throttle body and a long stud on the bottom. Once the throttle body is out of the way, remove all your plug wires.  Remove 2 coolant hose from the throttle body, try not to spill any coolant into the spark plug holes. If you have access to compress air, I would blow all the dirt out of the way. Becareful  not to damage the wires when removing them.  Remove all your plugs. Do not use any kind of power tool to install the plugs.  Reassemble everything and test for leaks.  This job would take 45 minutes max.  Good luck.
