Lexus Repair: 1999 Lexus ES300, auto body parts, ac condenser

Question
I purchased a 99 ES300 that had a repaired salvage title. It had been in a front end accident. The previous owner had the car repaired and the airbags replaced. The car was registered and apparently passed inspection. I purchased the car with the "airbag", "trac is off" and "check engine" lights on. When turning the car on after it sits for a while, some white smoke comes out of the muffler. There are signs of black carbon on the muffler tail pipe. However, the engine runs very smooth and the car feels quite powerful. I suspect one or more oxygen sensors need replacement. I just changed the transmission and engine oil. The car has 86000 miles.

Even though there is no vibrating or shaking, should I change the spark plugs, distributor cap and wires? I have no idea if it had ever been done. Other than the O2 sensors, is there other areas that I should be inspecting for possible "trac is off" & "check engine" MIL? I will ordering the Autoenginuity OBDII engine scanner very soon. Is there a place that I can get a diagram which would show every front end bracket and things like engine splash guard, fender liner, etc? For example, the brackets which hold the AC condenser, bracket which hold the Airbag sensors, etc? Is there discounted auto parts store where I can buy things like the mentioned brackets, engine splash, radiator and AC condenser side brackets?

I have the Mitchell on Demand for the Lexus, but it doesn't show every specific detail.

Any help is kindly appreciated.
Joe

Answer
Hello Joey, The white smoke is caused by the valve guide seals which is common on the ES300 Lexus. The parts that you are looking for are going to be more in a auto body parts type program not in a auto repair program. Lexus is going to be your only outlet besides salvage yards for most of this stuff.
