Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 2000 Cougar heat, e mail address, engine thermostat

Question
I have a 200 cougar which gives no heat, or very little. All the heater controls seem to function and air can be re-directed as the controls show. Any suggestions?

Answer
In the summer, it's a/c, in the winter... Couple things to look at Mark. Does the car temperature gauge read normal? If it is running way low, then we need to replace the engine thermostat. If it's ok, it gets a bit more complicated. There is a blend door actuator that a lot of people are having trouble with in Ford products. I have pictures of it and instructions on replacement, but I'll need your e-mail address because they do not allow pics in this medium.
