Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 92 Lincoln Air Suspension, lincoln air suspension, solenoid

Question
The front air suspension keeps going down. I've checked for leaks and replaced one of the bags.  It may be okay for days while it is not being driven and then when I drive it the front end goes all the way down. Is it going to be more cost effective to put struts on the front? THANKS!!

Answer
Hi Dave,

As I was reading about this, Ford might be a good place to have them at least look. I think you have a bad solenoid that when the computer calls for air to either front bag, it opens and leaks out instead of fills. I don't recommend changing to a solid system. You won't be happy with it. This repair will be much less than the conversion any way.
