Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 2000 lincoln navigator, lincoln dealer, lincoln navigator

Question
The rear end of my navigator lost all suspension I brought it to the Lincoln dealer where they replaced the air suspension compressor #1L1Z-5319AA $725.00. Since then the exact problem has happened 3 more times in a matter of 2 weeks. You can here the compresor hours after the engine has been turned of constantly running. Right now It is sitting in my driveway rear end all the way down waiting for Monday morn. to take it back to the dealer for the 5th time.Any suggestions.Thank you

Answer
Hi Harry,

This happened to mine too and I am surprised the dealer would replace a perfectly good pump. There is a "T" fitting that feeds the rear bags located very near and under the brake booster. It is green in color. It is leaking and needs to be replaced. This is so common on this car, it makes me so upset the dealer blew this call. I wish you would have got me before the dealer ripped you off. It's like a $3.00 part and 10 minutes to install.
