Question -
I have a 99 nissan quest...i just bought the vehicle...it ran fine for the first day now it is having a very bad miss and it wont idle...the longer it runs the worse it becomes.it will barely get over 45 mph due to the miss.i replaced the plugs and the fuel filter...could this be a possible fuel pressure issue...when i took the filter off it sprayed fuel all over the place, it had alot of pressure on the line. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Steve

Hi Steven,

No, it's not a tune up issue. Was the check engine light on when you bought it or did it come on afterwards?

Answer
Hi Steven,

This will be a bad sensor. To determine which one it will have to be taken to a shop that can scan the computer and watch the data stream. Cottman Transmission will do this for free... Once you have this information you can resubmit to me and I can tell you what it is, how much and so on...
