Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 95 Lincoln Continental Engine Problems, head gasket, tourk

Question
After receiving your response to have the compression checked on all the cylinders I did so. 2 were within operating specs. The head gasket was changed not to long ago along with the valve cover gaskets, which are visibly leaking oil now. I'm thinking whoever did the head gasket either didn't torque them enough or too much (if the vavle covers are any indication and the plumes of white smoke coming from the exhaust now.) My question is what to do now. Do I A) have the engine taken out and dismantled to find the problem ($$$$) B) Purchase a new($$$), rebuilt($$), or salvaged($) engine to replace this one or C) part the car out? Did I leave any possiblities out?
Thanks for your advice.
