what is the piece called that the gas cap screws onto? And can I purchase it at an auto parts store?

this is called a gas tank stem . you will have to go threw nanpa or a well know parts store to get this part they should be abale to get it if you have problems let me know and i will help . good luck to u hun and u have a pretty name pete
