Mazda Repair: mazda protege 2000, mazda protege, spark energy

Question
i have a 2000 protege that hesitates when you push the gas at idle when you stop and start.I have changed the plugs no difference.Do you have an idea which area i should check, wires air,???? The car seems to run well after it is rolling.

Answer
Ignition wires can gain resistance as they get older causing the spark energy to decrease and in some low RPM situations actually drop out causing a or some cylinders to misfire.  Another common is clean the throttle body and the controls within, carbon or gunk can build up and slow response times down which could also affect drivability.
