Mazda Repair: Mazda 6 headlight removal, mazda 6 sport wagon, negative battery cable

Question
Hi- How on earth does one remove the headlight assemblies from my 2004 Mazda 6 sport wagon?  I need to replace a fog bulb, and I want to upgrade the headlamps to Sylvania Silverstars.  Have all bolts and clips removed, grill is out, and assembly still is held up on the front bumper skin. On passenger side, absolutely no room to remove bulb from behind, even with radiator overflow tank removed (windshield fluid tank also in the way).  Any thoughts?

Answer
you dont need to remove the headlight asembly, here's the diagram 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1
Cover

2
Connector

3
Front fog light bulb (See Front Fog Light Bulb Removal Note)

CAUTION:

A halogen bulb generates extremely high heat when it is used. If the surface of the bulb is soiled, excessive heat will build up and the light’s life will be shortened. When replacing the bulb, hold the metal flange, not the glass.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Release the bulb pressing wire to remove the front fog light bulb.
