Mazda Repair: v6 2.5 no spark, mass air flow sensors, air flow sensors

Question
i have a v6 2.5 in my 1994 probe gt its the same motor that is in my 1994 mazdas 626 and some one at a local shop fixed one of my slipping gears in the probe and when they got finished i have had no spark and continue to have no spark. what could it be i have replaced to distributer, crank case sensor, plugs, plug wires, computer and some other stuff what could it be???       i have another question on my 626 sorry it has the 2.0 4 cyl it has an unusal problem i have replaced several mass air flow sensors in it and i dont know what the problem is but when ever the mass air flow sensor is pluged in it runs and idles fine but when you drive it takes for ever to get going a decent speed. and its hard to get acceleration up like i cant get it to go above 2000 rpm but when i unplug it it runs like a dream and has tons of power but it does not idle and allways have to have my foot on the brake and gas to keep it going what could this problem be???

Answer
Probe: May be from mismatched and or split / poorly connected wiring.
Take it back to the shop that did the work and tell them to fix it.
Had you not replaced all the parts you did the financial burden could have rested on them, which is not the case now. Anytime something just up and quits like that take it back and wash your hands of it. It is the only way to do business in the automotive world.

Mazda: Idle air control or Throttle position sensor. DO NOT REPLACE ANYTHING WITHOUT TAKING IT TO A GARAGE FIRST AND GETTING IT SCANNED!

I have noted that you replaced a great multitude of things on the probe and would like to tell you that I have made a lot of money buying cars with a lot of new parts in them and then replacing the $10 part that was the root of the whole mess. Taking it in to be scanned will tell you where to start looking if it cannot tell you exactly what the problem is.
